Maple Court Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Associate Teacher (Apprenticeship Route) to join our strong team of highly motivated professionals who work collaboratively to raise standards and expectations at all levels. The role would be suitable for anyone who has experience or wishes to gain experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, under the line management of the Lead for Inclusion/SENCO.
You will be placed on the Staffordshire/Coventry University Specialist Teaching Assistant Routes/Apprenticeship Course, which is fully funded by Alpha Academies Trust. During the programme you will complete a Level 5 Apprenticeship course and gain Qualified Teacher Status within two years. During this time, you will benefit from on-the-job teaching experience along with 20% of your working time to be dedicated to your own learning and development. There will be a permanent position available upon completion of the apprenticeship.
The ability to converse at ease with members of the public, including staff and students in accurate spoken English is essential for the post, therefore postholders must be able to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence through the medium of English.
