Crynodeb
We are seeking a skilled Fibreglass Laminator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of fibreglass components for a range of industries, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.
This role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of composite manufacturing processes.
Duties
• Fabricate GRP parts using various composite manufacturing processes such as hand layup and resin transfer moulding (RTM).
• Assemble fibreglass components according to specifications and technical drawings.
• Mould care and preparation.
• Material identification.
• Application of various release agents and gel coats.
• Complete projects in line with customer expectations and company needs.
• Maintain a safe and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations and in line with company policies and procedures.
Experience
• Previous experience in fibreglass laminating and composites manufacturing is essential.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is required.
• Basic maths skills are necessary for accurate measurements and calculations.
Mould Ability is situated in Staveley, Chesterfield, easily accessible from junction 29A or junction 30 on the M1.
This is a full-time, permanent position, based at our Chesterfield site.
Basic hours are 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 13:00 Friday.
Overtime is available at an enhanced rate.
