Job Description
We are looking to recruit a number of Care Assistants to support the provision of care by attending to the needs and rights of older individuals within a caring environment.
This role will require flexible, evening and weekend working.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
Available vacancies:
3 x 28Hr- will work to a 4 week rolling rota, with one weekend on and one weekend off principle. the shift times will be either 07:30 to 15:00 or 14:30 to 22:00
1 x 21Hr- will work to a 4 week Rolling rota , with one weekend on and one weekend off principle, the shift times will be either 07:30 to 15:00 or 14:30 to 22:00
1 x 21Hr - will have no fixed rota and will work in to cover the shifts that are requiring cover for that week, this will be given with as much warning as possible, however last minute changes may occur. shift times will be 07:30 to 15:00 or 14:30 to 22:00

Requirements
This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
This post will require you to have obtained SSSC registration within 3 months of employment. Due to the changes to SSSC and the closure to the SSSC portal, the 3 months will start counting from 3rd of June 2024.
This post has a minimum requirement of two references, one of these must be your current or most recent employer.
