We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children's Social Worker – Social Care Qualified to join our dynamic team in the Hospital & Health Care industry. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and risks to inform intervention plans.
Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
Provide direct support and guidance to children and families to foster resilience and promote well-being.
Monitor progress and adapt care strategies as necessary, maintaining regular communication with families and stakeholders.
Engage in multi-agency collaboration to coordinate services and ensure comprehensive support for children and families.
Advocate for children's rights and best interests in various settings, including court and community resources.
Document case notes and maintain accurate records in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, with an emphasis on child welfare.
Current Social Care qualification and registration with the relevant professional body.
Demonstrated experience working with children and families in a social work or healthcare setting.
Strong knowledge of child welfare legislation, safeguarding protocols, and best practices in social work.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism, showing cultural competence.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £24.80
