We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Building Control Surveyor for a hybrid interim position within the Hospital and Health Care sector. Responsibilities
Conduct building inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Review construction plans and technical specifications for healthcare facilities.
Provide expert advice to architects and contractors on building control issues.
Coordinate with various stakeholders, including health and safety officials, to facilitate compliance.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation related to inspections and compliance.
Monitor ongoing construction projects to ensure adherence to approved plans and regulations.
Respond to inquiries and provide guidance on building control matters to internal and external parties.
Requirements
Relevant degree or qualification in Building Control, Building Surveying, or a related field.
Significant experience in building control or surveying within the health care sector is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of building regulations, codes, and standards applicable to healthcare facilities.
Strong analytical skills to assess technical information and documentation accurately.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with stakeholders effectively.
Proficiency in using building control software and other relevant tools.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £42.50
