We are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant, to support children with EHCPs, who:
• Hold a Level 2 Teaching and Learning qualification or equivalent
• Promote inclusive practice through quality first teaching
• Support learning for individual, groups and classes of children
• Deliver targeted interventions and support
• Are confident in behaviour management strategies
• Are well organised and remain calm under pressure
• Demonstrate good ICT skills
• Are team players
• Have initiative, enthusiasm and can demonstrate commitment to making a difference
• Take a proactive role in the wider life of the school
• Can complete evaluations for learning, assessments & interventions
• Supervise engaging playtime/lunchtime activities
• Have experience of working with children with learning, speech and language and communication difficulties
• Ideally have experience of supporting children with ASD
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
• Experience of working with children with SEN
• Excellent behaviour management strategies
• Excellent knowledge of child development, EYFS & KS1 curriculum
• Excellent communication skills and confidence with ICT
• Good organisational skills and time management
• Ability to work closely with the Class Teachers and Inclusion Team
