About the Role
We are looking for a Personal Assistant to support a 16-year-old male in enjoying activities at weekends and occasionally after school. Our client is an energetic, bubbly young man who loves staying busy and has a positive outlook on life.
Your role will involve
Supporting him in fun activities such as singing, dancing, bowling, cinema trips, theatre visits, and outings to the beach, woods, or historic sites.
Encouraging and suggesting new activities to explore.
Assisting with mobility (he prefers to walk but may use a wheelchair at times).
Ensuring constant supervision for his safety.
Who We’re Looking For
A caring, enthusiastic, and fun-loving person who enjoys being active.
Someone with patience and strong communication skills – our client is verbal but uses basic signs and gestures.
A driver is preferred for ease of transportation, but not essential.
Previous care experience is preferred but not essential – training can be provided.
This role requires an enhanced PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) check.
Essential Requirements
Member of the PVG Scheme or willingness to apply.
