We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and service delivery across two key corporate buildings.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all building services—such as cleaning, front-of-house, engineering, waste management, and daily catering support—are delivered to a consistently high standard.

Job Description

In this role, you will be the main point of contact for building-related issues, taking ownership of both planned and reactive tasks while ensuring the environment remains safe, efficient, and welcoming.

A key part of your role will involve working closely with both the client and internal ISS service teams to resolve issues swiftly, support daily operational needs, and drive a client-centric experience.

You’ll also collaborate with wider account teams, including Projects, HSEQ, Innovation & Change, and Communications & Engagement, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment with broader service goals.

Your focus will be on delivering an environment that exceeds expectations by anticipating needs, resolving issues proactively, and enhancing the overall building experience for all users.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the maintenance, repair, and lifecycle renewal of all building fabric and M&E assets across both sites.

Lead internal and external stakeholder relationships to ensure clear communication, alignment, and service continuity.

Ensure services meet client expectations and performance standards via SLAs, reporting, and documented procedures.

Maintain financial responsibility for relevant service streams, including budget management and cost control.

Provide effective line management for staff delivering services within the buildings, supporting their development and ensuring high performance.

Conduct regular audits on all service lines, ensuring quality standards are met and that any remedial actions are tracked to timely completion.

Lead, support, and develop your team to consistently deliver operational excellence and a high standard of service.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to deliver services on time, meeting deadlines and contractual SLAs.

Confident in customer-facing roles with the ability to build strong client relationships.

Traits:

Self-starting and proactive, able to work independently with limited supervision.

Open and honest communicator with a passion for understanding operational challenges and problem-solving.

Takes full responsibility and ownership of deliverables.

Highly collaborative, working effectively with clients, site teams, and wider operational and account teams.
