Summary
We are seeking teaching assistants, preferably with a SEND background, to work with students in the school’s special education unit, although this is not essential as training will be delivered relevant to experience and the cohort of children.
You will work with individual pupils and groups of pupils, under the direction of a teacher/line manager, introducing tasks, monitoring pupils’ work and using a range of strategies to support their learning.
You will have the ability to draw on your specialist skills and knowledge to respond effectively to pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities.
