The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual to join our Via service in Harrow, working with a supportive and friendly multidisciplinary team of clinical and non-clinical professionals.

This important role will be key in ensuring that effective, efficient, and appropriate care is planned, and managed well for people using our service and that this care achieves a positive impact to the recovery of the individual.

The role may suit someone who is looking to develop a career in the sector, though an excellent track record in a health and social care sector is essential.

You will:

• Conduct strengths-based assessments, evidence-based interventions (brief and structured) and initial risk and recovery planning,
• Deliver harm reduction advice, guidance and education including, needle & syringe exchanges, brief and extended recovery interventions, blood borne virus interventions and overdose prevention advice.
• Support with engagement processes, such as managing contact schedules, to ensure safety and maximise outcomes.
• Support the day-to-day delivery of excellent drug and alcohol services to those using our service and their significant others, including family members friends and carers.

The Service
Via Harrow is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing clinical and psychosocial interventions from a main treatment hub in Harrow and from a range of satellite services in the borough. The team actively promotes recovery and work with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Harrow residents, irrespective of circumstance.

This service is an established Community Integrated service that is well performing and highly functioning, it is CQC registered to provide a range of clinical interventions including BBV & health interventions, OST, and community detox alongside a comprehensive psychosocial and recovery focussed model.
