This post is full time (35 hours p/w) and open ended with funding for up to 12 months in the first instance.
The University of Glasgow has been changing the world for more than 574 years, and we are one of the world's top 100 universities, ranked 12th in the world in the Times Higher Education (THE) World Impact Rankings 2024, demonstrating that we are not only one of the best universities in the United Kingdom, but one of the best universities for the world. Our people have always been at the forefront of innovation, and our past achievements inspire our current world changers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a new Technician to join the University’s School of Infection & Immunity.
In this role you will provide in-depth technical expertise in parasitology, cell, and molecular biology and provide advice on the set up and best operation of equipment and procedures to aid delivery objectives.
This post is based within the School of Infection and Immunity, working under the supervision of Dr Megan Sloan (Principal Investigator) whose main research focus is the role of mRNA-binding proteins in the parasite Toxoplasma gondii.
