Your new company
A large secondary school in Nottingham city is seeking a professional and approachable Receptionist to join their front office team. This is a full-time, term-time-only role, starting in September 2025. It is initially a temporary position but has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Your new role
You will be the first point of contact for students, staff, parents, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include managing the reception area, handling phone and email enquiries, supporting administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation of the school's front office.
Working hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am - 3:30pm
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role in an educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- A calm, professional manner and the ability to multitask
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
