Crynodeb
A Female Personal Support Assistant is required for 12 hours per week to support a lady who has ADHD, Autistic and suffers from Fibromyalgia.
The ideal PA will be calm, respectful, trauma informed, understands neurodivergent communication styles, which can come across as blunt, have a good sense of humour and has life experiences, or is willing to learn about. The lady is a single parent and has an autistic/neurodivergent child that lives with her.
The 12 hours are for meal preparation and to cook and for the lady (not for her child) , which is often repetitive, support her with shopping etc.
It is essential that the PA is a car owner and has a full clean UK driving licence, the lady lives in a rural area, between Scarborough and Malton.
Exception under the Equality Act(2010)- the post(s) is only open to female applicants due to the personal assistance required.
A DBS including children is required (fees paid)
The rate of pay is £13.25 per hour and comes with paid annual leave (pro-rata).
