Lathe Operative
£14-£15 per hour dependent upon experience, weekly pay
Leeds, LS27
Full time, Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4pm (40 hours per week)
Concept Recruitment are delighted to be working with our client based in Morley to recruit a Lathe Operative on a temporary to permanent basis.
You will be required to carry out the following:
Workshop tasks for all areas of business as instructed by Workshop Supervisor.
Engineering tasks such as: reboring, milling, blade tensioning, countersinking.
Maintenance or repairs of various types of equipment following relevant procedures.
Ensure good housekeeping within the workshop at all times.
A good understanding of Health and Safety guidelines within a workshop environment.
Your duties will include:
Re-tipping, tension and modification on all blade types.
Brazing by hand and using a range of of automatic brazing machines.
Grinding machines and tensioning machines, lathes and boring machines.
