Trinity Medical Centre are looking for a Paramedic Practitioner to join our 25,000 patient practice in the centre of Hove. Being part of the Trinity Medical Centre team means a supportive and friendly environment in a fantastic, modern health centre in the heart of Hove. We are a forward-thinking, friendly GP surgery committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care. The Role As a Primary Care Paramedic Practitioner, you will play a vital role in delivering acute care within the surgery. Working autonomously but with full clinical support, you will manage patients presenting with a wide range of minor illness and injury, as well as long-term conditions where appropriate. You will assess, diagnose, treat, refer or signpost patients who attend the surgery. The post holder will have telephone, face to face and home visit appointments. Key Responsibilities Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of patients Manage same-day appointments, triage, and home visits Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals Support the management of long-term conditions and care planning Promote health education and prevention To treat, as appropriate and within the scope of practice To signpost appropriately to other services Assist in maintaining accurate data collection Effectively manage own time and workload Support and participate in shared learning across the practice What were looking for Forward thinking, proactive and committed Paramedic Practitioner Registered Paramedic with the HCPC Experience in an urgent care or primary care setting is desirable Independent prescriber or willingness to work towards it (desirable) Excellent clinical, communication, and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team Confident and efficient using Microsoft Office and IT based patient clinical systems EMIS is preferable Current DBS check Occupation Health Clearance Knowledge of Adult and Child Safeguarding procedures and referral pathways What We Offer Supportive and inclusive working environment Regular clinical supervision NHS pension scheme Flexible working arrangements Opportunities for career development in a progressive practice and PCN
