- Provide technical guidance and support to site teams as required.
Qualifications
- A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS, and laser levels.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- A valid CSCS card and a full UK driving license are preferred.
Day-to-Day
- Conducting site surveys and setting out points for construction activities.
- Liaising with site teams to ensure alignment with project plans and timelines.
- Monitoring and verifying the accuracy of work completed on-site.
- Preparing and submitting reports on site progress and any technical issues encountered.
- Attending site meetings to discuss project updates and address challenges.
- Ensuring all equipment is calibrated and maintained for accurate measurements.
