Summary
Total Social are working with Middlesbrough Borough Council who are looking for an experienced locum Children's Social Worker for their Safeguarding and Care Planning Service.
We want Social Workers who are professionally curious and analytical but can work at pace and produce good quality plans and assessments for our children
Our Safeguarding team provide longer term support and interventions, through CIN, CP and CLA and the focus is on relationships and developing safety, progressing plans to get the best for our children and families
Children’s Services in Middlesbrough have been working hard to improve over the last few years and we have made steady improvements as evidenced in our regular Ofsted monitoring visits
Our social workers have caseloads of no more than 25 children, and have regular case and personal supervision
Agency social workers benefit from a comprehensive training programme and we offer flexible working. Social workers are required to be in the office 2 days a week
