Crynodeb
PS LTD are recruiting for a Class 1 driver to work Monday to Friday on a general haulage, double decker contract out of Netherfield. The goods are palletised and you will be delivering to regional hub centres. Start time 06:00 onward typically your hours will be 50-55 hours.
Responsibilities
Operate a lorry in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely delivery
Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition before departure.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures related to transportation and safety.
Skills
Minimum 1 year driving class 1 vehicles (insurance purposes)
Valid drivers CPC and digi card
Experience driving double-deckers
Strong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with the transport team
Weekly pay - £17 Per Hour
