Are you a compassionate and proactive individual who's committed to making a difference in the lives of children and families? Brookfields School is looking for a Family Support Worker to join our supportive and experienced team. This is a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a collaborative learning environment for pupils aged 4-19 with a range of physical, learning, and emotional needs.

Role

As a Family Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the partnership between home, school, and community.

Supporting families through early intervention and tailored support plans

Working closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to deliver coordinated care

Acting as a key liaison between families and outside agencies, including health, housing, education, social care, and safeguarding teams

Requirements

Experience supporting vulnerable families and children, ideally within SEN or specialist settings

A strong track record of working with multi-agency teams and delivering early help

A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential for home visits and outreach)

Experience supporting children with behavioural or medical needs (e.g. , epilepsy) is welcomed, though not essential-we value passion and a willingness to learn above all.
