Are you passionate about working with children? OJ Rocks Fun Club Childcare are looking for a dedicated Playworker to help us create a fun and safe environment for children at our after-school club. If you're eager to engage with children and support their development, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities: - Assist the team leader in planning and facilitating enjoyable play and learning activities. - Bring your creative ideas to enhance the children's experiences. - Ensure a safe and stimulating environment where all children feel supervised and engaged. - Participate in ongoing training, including safeguarding and first aid, to enhance your skills. - Work collaboratively as part of our team, demonstrating reliability and flexibility. - Build positive relationships with children, promoting social skills and teamwork.
Requirements: - Level 2 qualification in childcare or a related field is essential. - Willingness to undertake further training in playwork. - Experience working with children aged 4-11 years, adaptable for different age groups. - Outgoing and friendly personality, thriving in a dynamic environment. - Strong teamwork skills, keeping a positive attitude even under pressure.
Position Details: - Salary: £12.21 per hour - Hours: 2:45 PM - 5:30 PM (Monday to Thursday).
