The Role
Gonville & Caius College is seeking a Senior Supervisor to support in the efficient delivery of all Food & Beverage events at the College.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, the role of the Senior Supervisor is one that will oversee large and small events, supervise large and small teams including casuals to ensure delivery to the highest standards at all Gonville & Caius Sites.

You will take pride in customer satisfaction and seek to instil creativity and consistency into teams on a daily basis. Food safety, health and safety checks, appropriate ordering and team SOP training are amongst other responsibilities. The Senior Supervisor will work closely with the Food & Beverage Manager, Deputy Food & Beverage Manager and Supervisors, but will also liaise with the Head of Catering, Head Chef and Fellows Butler.

The ability and willingness to adopt a flexible approach to working hours is expected, as this role covers holidays and other absences and you may be required to work additional hours from time to time in order to fulfil the requirements of the role and the needs of the College.

This is a permanent full-time contract working 40 hours per week working 5 days out of 7 including evenings and weekends.

The annual full time equivalent salary for this role is £30,937

Gonville & Caius College is one of the largest colleges in the University of Cambridge.
