Summary

Senior Business Administrator / Assistant Project Manager
Stratford, London | Rail & Infrastructure Company
Full-Time | Office Based | Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30

Are you an organised, proactive professional with experience in business administration and project coordination? We're looking for a Senior Business Administrator / Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team at a Rail and Infrastructure contractor based in Stratford.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your contribution will support the smooth running of business operations and delivery of key projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of small-scale projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

  • Use and maintain our Quality Management System (ISO standards), supporting internal and external audits.

  • Liaise with auditors, prepare relevant documentation, and ensure compliance procedures are followed.

  • Manage aspects of fleet operations, including maintenance schedules, insurance, and tracking usage.

  • Oversee payroll administration and assist with HR onboarding processes for new staff.

  • Book meetings, prepare agendas, and provide support to senior leadership and project teams.

  • Handle general administrative tasks and provide support across departments as needed.

What We're Looking For:
  • Proven experience in a similar administrative or assistant project management role.

  • Knowledge and experience of working with ISO quality systems and audit processes.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.

  • Strong communication skills and a professional approach to dealing with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project coordination tools.

  • A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
