Finishing Foreman Opportunity: Residential Development in Huntingdon

A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to join their team on a residential development site in Huntingdon.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the finishing stages of the project, ensuring high-quality standards are met and that work progresses efficiently and to schedule. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to health and safety on site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising and coordinating all finishing trades, including painters, decorators, plasterers, and carpenters.

  • Ensuring work is completed to the required specifications and quality standards.

  • Conducting regular inspections and snagging to identify and rectify defects.

  • Managing and motivating site personnel to achieve project milestones.

  • Maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

  • Collaborating effectively with the site management team, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Essential Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on residential construction projects.

  • Valid CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme).

  • Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.

  • Valid First Aid at Work certification.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

  • A thorough understanding of construction processes and finishing trades.
