Big Life’s Living Well Rochdale service delivers the Kirkholt Million programme, which runs the Million Pavillion Café.





What you’ll be doing



As our Million Pavillion Catering Worker, you will support the day-to-day running of the café, working with volunteers. You will
create a calm, trauma-informed environment where people can get well-priced nutritious food, relax and stay warm. The café will be
an access point for the Kirkholt community to learn about additional services and activities available.





What we need from you



* An interest in your community, the environment and reducing food waste.
* Great catering ability and the knowhow to plan and create a high-quality menu.
* The skills to prepare and serve well-priced meals, reflecting the diversity of our community.
* Experience of working with people from a variety of different backgrounds.
* The ability to create a warm and welcoming environment for people.
* The skills to offer support to people, and to signpost them to other services where appropriate.





What we will offer you in return



* An hourly salary of £12.60 (Real Living Wage)
* A 25 hour per week contract until 30 September 2025
