We’re looking for an experiencedPaediatric Physiotherapistto join our welcoming and innovative Children and Young People’s Integrated Therapies (CYPIT) team in East Berkshire.
In this community-based role with a neurodevelopmental focus, you'll support children with a broad range of physical and developmental needs. You’ll work closely with families, schools and other professionals to help children achieve their full potential.
You’ll manage your own caseload which will include:
• Working in the community including schools, early years and clinic settings and home visits
• Using a neurodevelopmental, child-centred approach to physiotherapy
• Working in a multidisciplinary team alongside occupational therapists and speech and language therapists
• Supporting families, early years and school staff with practical, goal-based strategies
• Helping to shape our evolving service
Our core working hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 – 17:00 but we can offer some flexibility around this. We welcome full-time or part-time applications from 22.5 hrs/week
You can be based at either Maidenhead or Slough with community travel required across the East Berkshire area.

• Provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people with developmental / complex needs
• Function as a specialist autonomous clinician, supporting delivery of the CYPIT model and providing support to more junior staff and students
• Contribute to defined projects and service development initiatives as requested
• Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records and provide written therapy plans and reports including contribution to the EHC Assessment process and tribunals as required
• Use needs-led, impact-based clinical decision making, and associated outcome measures
• Provide specialist clinical care including assessment, diagnosis and intervention

The “must haves” for this role:
• Qualified Physiotherapist, registered with HCPC
• Experience working with children in the community
• A car driver with UK licence (or the equivalent ability to travel between community sites efficiently).
