Are you a science graduate with a passion for practical learning and an interest in working in education?

Would you enjoy a hands-on role supporting experiments, equipment, and pupils in a vibrant school science department?

A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Hounslow is seeking a Graduate Science Technician to support their KS3–KS5 science laboratories. This is the perfect opportunity for a graduate interested in education, lab work, or even a future in teaching science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing equipment and resources for science lessons
• Assisting with practical demonstrations and lab experiments
• Maintaining and organising laboratory equipment
• Managing chemical inventories and ensuring safety compliance
• Supporting students during practical’s under the direction of science teachers
• Providing general support to the science department

You’ll work closely with teaching staff to ensure the smooth running of biology, chemistry, and physics lessons, and gain fantastic experience in a professional lab and school setting.

Who We’re Looking For:

• A science graduate (biology, chemistry, physics or related field)
• Highly organised and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working with lab equipment and basic scientific procedures
• Enthusiastic about supporting young people in their learning
• Interested in a potential teaching or education pathway
