We are looking to appoint a passionate and committed Early Years Practitioner to work as part of a dedicated team, working collaboratively with the school. The Key Nursery at Kingsway Primary School is of medium size and provides an educationally rich, stimulating and enjoyable environment to children aged 2 - 4 years. The safe and nurturing setting provides an excellent standard of care to all children across both the toddler and a pre-school rooms and benefits from the teams at the school who provide additional support with safeguarding, finance and SEND management.

As Nursery practitioner you will be required to:
· Contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in the EYFS
· Work as part of a team in order to set up and provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop.
· Create a secure environment, using imagination to help children to learn.
· Address the physical needs of the children including toileting, dressing and cleanliness.
· Ensure high standards of supervision of children in all areas accessed by them
· Work with parents to support their children.
· To work with individual children on a 1:1 basis with a wide range of additional complex needs, including medical needs.
We seek applications from experienced Nursery Practitioners who have:
· Level 2 Early Years Education and Childcare Qualification (or above). We will consider unqualified applicants with relevant experience.
· Proven experience, passion and natural ability for working with children from 2 to 4 years within a nursery setting
· Sound understanding of child development, and of children's needs.
· Ability to plan and implement a curriculum
· Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
· Excellent knowledge of EYFS
