We’re on the lookout for a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join a growing, fast-paced distribution centre where no two days are the same. You’ll be responsible for leading a team of warehouse operatives, driving performance, and identifying areas for improvement across processes, people, and productivity. Operations Supervisor Key Responsibilities
- Lead from the front: Drive shift performance across key KPIs—quality, volume, efficiency, and safety.
- Champion safety and process adherence: Maintain the highest standards while ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Own improvements: Identify and implement process enhancements that streamline workflows and remove bottlenecks.
- Coach and develop your team: Support operatives through regular feedback, one-to-ones, and performance management.
- Communicate effectively: Ensure the team is aligned on goals, updates, and shift plans through regular briefings.
- Manage the flow: Oversee intra-shift operations, resolve disruptions, and allocate resources smartly.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work with internal teams—HR, L&D, Health & Safety, eComm, Retail, and more—to meet and exceed targets.
Operations Supervisor key skills / experience:
- 2+ years’ experience in warehousing operations (D2C preferred).
- 1+ years’ experience leading and developing teams in a warehouse setting.
- Strong working knowledge of WMS systems and process-level change.
- Proven ability to foster a safety-first culture and drive high standards.
- Hands-on experience with holiday approvals, absence management and disciplinary processes.
