Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join an inclusive and supportive team. You will play a key role in providing high-quality education and tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and socially. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a SEN Teacher:
Plan, deliver and assess lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils.
Develop and adapt resources and strategies to support differentiated learning.
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals.
Monitor and record pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and contributing to EHCP reviews and annual reports.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents/carers and colleagues.
Promote an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment.
Ideal SEN Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Experience teaching pupils with special educational needs is highly desirable.
A thorough understanding of SEND best practice and relevant legislation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a SEN Teacher.
A caring, patient and resilient approach.
Ability to inspire and motivate pupils with diverse needs.
