We are looking to appoint a passionate and inspiring English Teacher to join a dynamic teaching team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to develop a love for reading, writing, and effective communication. This role begins September 2025.
Duties as an English Teacher:
Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure achievement.
Create a classroom environment that promotes learning, creativity, and respect.
Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and department resources.
Participate fully in school life, including staff meetings, CPD, and extracurricular activities.
Ideal English Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in English or a related subject.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills as an English Teacher.
A commitment to inclusion, high standards, and student well-being.
