Summary
We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and motivated KS1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team. You will work closely with the class teacher to help create a positive, engaging learning environment for children aged 5-7. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS1 Teaching Assistant:
Support pupils’ learning in class and in small groups.
Assist with planning and preparing classroom resources.
Provide additional support for pupils with specific needs.
Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Supervise pupils during break times or on school trips when needed.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff.
Ideal KS1 Teaching Assistant:
Previous experience working with young children in a school setting is desirable.
A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is an advantage.
A patient, caring attitude with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning.
Good communication and teamwork skills as a KS1 Teaching Assistant.
Reliable and flexible, with a positive approach to new challenges.
