Job Description
⦠The role of a Mechanical Fitter will include the following duties:
⦠Stripping, assessing, and rebuilding hydraulic cylinders in a clean and well-equipped workshop environment
⦠Dismantling and inspecting hydraulic components for wear or damage
⦠Preparing components for repair or replacement
⦠Working from engineering drawings and repair specifications
⦠Using hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and efficiently
⦠Keeping detailed records of work completed and parts used
The Ideal Candidate Will:
⦠Have previous experience stripping and rebuilding hydraulic cylinders or similar mechanical assemblies
⦠Be confident working from drawings and written instructions
⦠Be mechanically minded with a solid understanding of hydraulic systems
⦠Be comfortable working independently or as part of a team
⦠Demonstrate a professional, self-motivated attitude
⦠Have good time management and organisational skills
⦠An engineering apprenticeship is beneficial, but relevant hands-on experience is key
