Schedule: Days – Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Job Description
⦁ The role of a Mechanical Fitter will include the following duties:
⦁ Stripping, assessing, and rebuilding hydraulic cylinders in a clean and well-equipped workshop environment
⦁ Dismantling and inspecting hydraulic components for wear or damage
⦁ Preparing components for repair or replacement
⦁ Working from engineering drawings and repair specifications
⦁ Using hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and efficiently
⦁ Keeping detailed records of work completed and parts used

The Ideal Candidate Will:
⦁ Have previous experience stripping and rebuilding hydraulic cylinders or similar mechanical assemblies
⦁ Be confident working from drawings and written instructions
⦁ Be mechanically minded with a solid understanding of hydraulic systems
⦁ Be comfortable working independently or as part of a team
⦁ Demonstrate a professional, self-motivated attitude
⦁ Have good time management and organisational skills
⦁ An engineering apprenticeship is beneficial, but relevant hands-on experience is key
