PS LTD are currently seeking a full time Paint Operative to join our clients Remanufacturing team in Ollerton.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for managing and operating the day-to-day tasks within the branch's paint workshop. Your main focus will be the preparation and application of protective coatings in line with customer and company specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the paint workshop
Prepare surfaces and apply protective coatings to various materials
Ensure a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Maintain high-quality standards and ensure compliance with relevant procedures
Assist with final inspection and dispatch processes
Carry out other duties as requested by management
What We're Looking For:
Strong experience using manual paint spray guns
Ability to prepare, mix, and apply a variety of protective coatings
Understanding of QHSE legislation and safety practices
Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
Competent in reading and completing job documentation (e.g. job cards, paint schedules, Def Stan paint systems)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organised with the ability to multitask effectively
Hours of work - Monday to Thursday 07.30am -4.30pm - Friday 7.30am -1.30pm
Pay Rate - £12.80ph
