They are currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEND Learning Support Assistant to join their team. In this role, you’ll work closely with a pupil who requires additional support, delivering personalised interventions and creating a consistent, supportive environment that promotes both learning and emotional growth.

As a 1:1 SEND Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Build a strong, trusting relationship with your assigned pupil, offering tailored support throughout the school day

  
  

• Foster a safe, inclusive classroom environment where your pupil can feel secure and motivated to learn

  
  

• Encourage the development of key skills—confidence, independence, communication, and social interaction

  
  

• Work alongside teachers and SEN staff to deliver personalised learning plans and adapt materials where needed

  
  

• Monitor progress and offer consistent, compassionate support that helps your pupil thrive both academically and emotionally

  
  

  What We’re Looking For:

  • A Level 3 or 4 qualification in Learning Support (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND, especially in a 1:1 capacity
  • A compassionate, child-centred approach that adapts to each learner's needs
