Your new opportunity
Quarriers is recruiting Relief Support Workers to join our dedicated team who provide care to adults with learning & physical disabilities. The services and team provide person centred care working with people on a 1:2:1 basis in their own home ensuring individual needs are met in a safe and caring environment.
As a relief Support Worker duties will include person care, taking part in activities, cooking and ensuring positive professional trusting relationships are formed with the team and people supported.
Working pattering: Shifts are early or late working 7.5 hours each shift. We are offering relief contracts and will require candidates who are able to offer flexibility to cover at time during annual leave and short notice. The service runs 24/7 and includes shift cover during evenings and weekends to meet the needs of individuals.
What you will need to bring to the role
- Compassion and empathy to support children with complex needs.
- Able to build long lasting trusting relationships
- Previous experience working in a similar setting is desirable.
- Reliable and flexible.
- A full valid UK driving licence is essential to be able to take people out for the day in their own car when required.
