Join a prestigious Top 100 UK accounting firm as a .NET Developer, working on cutting-edge systems supporting the firm's specialist medical accountancy services. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full software development lifecycle while working in a collaborative, agile environment with a modern Microsoft tech stack.

The Projects

You'll primarily support the continued development of a Blazor Server CRM platform, used by medical practices across the UK for handling accounts, VAT, and payroll. You'll also contribute to the build of a mobile onboarding app with secure document upload and identity verification features - both of which are essential tools driving digital transformation across the firm's medical division.

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: Blazor Server, Bootstrap 4
  • Backend: .NET 9, C#, Entity Framework, SQL Azure
  • DevOps: Azure DevOps (Repos & Pipelines), Azure hosting
  • Mobile: .NET MAUI (preferred) for iOS/Android apps

Key Responsibilities

Core Application Development

  • Design and develop features across the Blazor Server CRM platform
  • Build and manage relational database structures using Entity Framework
  • Create APIs to integrate the CRM with mobile apps and third-party tools
  • Deploy and manage code in Azure using DevOps pipelines

Mobile App Development

  • Develop a mobile self-onboarding app for new clients
  • Implement secure document upload and identity verification
  • Enable real-time CRM sync and automate internal workflows
  • Ensure compliance with data protection and security standards

Operational Support

  • Troubleshoot bugs and improve application performance
  • Support internal users with technical documentation and guidance
  • Monitor security updates and compliance
  • Collaborate with offshore development teams (UK & Pakistan)

Experience

Essential:

  • Commercial experience with C# and .NET (junior or mid-level welcome)
  • Willingness to learn full-stack development (frontend, backend, DevOps)
  • Solid understanding of databases and application architecture
  • A collaborative approach with good communication skills

Desirable:

  • Exposure to .NET MAUI or Xamarin for mobile development
  • Experience working with Azure or Azure DevOps
  • Interest in financial/accountancy systems or regulated industries
