Are you ready to take the reins in a key leadership role within a friendly, established accountancy practice? We're on the lookout for a dynamic Office or Finance Manager with strong hands-on bookkeeping skills and a talent for managing people.
This is not your average finance role - it's a chance to lead a close-knit team, work directly with a varied client portfolio, and play a pivotal role in the growth of a modern, client-first practice.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading and mentoring a small team of bookkeepers
- Owning your own client portfolio - from VAT and payroll to trial balance and management accounts
- Tackling complex queries and building strong client relationships
- Championing efficiency and innovation through smart tech
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years in a bookkeeping or finance role (ideally in an SME)
- Strong leadership skills - you're someone people trust and turn to
- Proficient in Sage (Xero/QuickBooks a bonus)
- Sharp eye for detail and brilliant at juggling priorities
- Confident, personable, and proactive
