Crynodeb
Answering calls and dealing with all aspects of patient facing care including booking appointments, greeting, and directing patients. Relaying information and queries between patients and clinicians, ensuring clear and concise documentation. Care navigation (signposting patients to other appropriate services). Processing online consultations Actioning and sending tasks to clinical team Liaising with wider colleagues in primary and secondary care Dealing with sensitive information always adhering to confidentiality policy Full working knowledge of Emis for all functions required for the role Book appointments on Emis and signpost to other services appropriately Fill up appointments correctly for varied clinicians by signposting correctly Input prescriptions accurately Chase up daily DNAs up & do tasks efficiently Undertake other GP related tasks such as patient registrations, referrals & coding Register new patients educating them on the practice booking options Identify and understand patient needs and requirements, through appropriate questioning Maintain high standards of patient confidentiality. Carry out all necessary general office duties Maintain a clean, tidy, effective working area at all times
