The Future Makers Co-ordinator is a fixed-term role with a brief to set up a programme of Future Makers activity in local schools and in our Crawley base in West Green to run from autumn 2025 to summer 2026. The Future Makers Co-ordinator will work closely with the Artistic Director and Executive Director and will be responsible for the logistics, organisation and management of
Future Makers.
A key part of this brief will be to build on our existing relationships with teachers in Crawley and in the community, helping to grow our network and the profile of the creative activities we offer to young people. You will schedule, plan and promote Future Makers activity in local schools and in our West Green home. You may also be asked to liaise with schools in Lewisham and Sheffield to support Future Makers activity in these locations.
The Future Makers sessions you set up will be delivered by our Artistic Director and our Resident Writers. The Future Makers activities we will offer to young people in this period will include working with our Resident Writers on creative explorations that will influence and inform the artists’ commissioned productions.
Your work will help to ensure the Future Makers process is embedded across all our work and threaded through all our activities and practice. You will also help to capture and evaluate the work, aiming to tell a compelling story about the impact of Future Makers on everyone involved.
