The Pharmacy Department at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is ambitious and forward thinking, striving to ensure that the patient is always at the heart of everything we do.

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced clinical pharmacist to join our team and provide advanced clinical services to Women's Health services.
• Liaise with the relevant senior pharmacy, medical and nursing/midwifery staff, other allied health professionals (AHPs) and managers to promote safe, evidence based and cost-effective use of medication in Women’s Health services.
• Provide an advanced clinical pharmacy service to
designated wards as part of the pharmacy team.
• Provide specialist pharmacist advice and service to designated wards / clinical areas.
• Participate in and lead where required on novel pharmacy projects in the care of patients under Women’s Services, including further development of the Clinical Pharmacy Service to Women’s Health.
• Identify and undertake service evaluation and audit to inform practice developments and underpin delivery of an effective, evidence-based pharmacy service.
• Act as a pharmacist independent prescriber in women’s services or work towards achieving this qualification.
• Provide pharmacy leadership to Women’s Services
• Deliver the additional duties described in Appendix 1
