Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for A PA Administration Assistant to join our clients team based in the Swansea area working for a manufacturing company.

Contract: Permanent
Salary: £26,250p.a
Hours of work: 40 hours per week: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5pm

The Role: The Assistant will play a key role in providing dedicated and seamless support to the Executive Assistant (EA), contributing to the smooth operation of the wider team and division. The role will also require regular driving duties, including collecting clients or stakeholders from airports and train stations. Daily driving is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complex diary and schedule management
  • Organising international and domestic travel arrangements
  • Managing correspondence and expenses
  • Handling a variety of administrative tasks with a high level of attention to detail
  • Tasks may include document filing, data organisation, and other ad hoc administrative support as required. Supporting senior leaders also.

Required Skills:-

  • Drivers licence essential / For insurance purposes, applicants must be over 25years old to be able to drive pool vehicles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills A tactful, assertive, and articulate voice able to interact effectively with a wide range of people from a variety of cultural backgrounds and levels of seniority
  • Business experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and takes pride in working to a high standard in routine activities, as much as special projects
  • Planning, prioritisation, and time management skills. Ability to work to deadlines by setting priorities and managing work loads
  • Excellent logistical skills - complex diary management. Enthusiasm, creativity, and a proactive problem-solving approach
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, dealing with people at senior levels professionally and with appropriate confidentiality
  • An exceptional working knowledge and skills of Microsoft applications (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Practical experience of using databases, spreadsheets/ Understanding of financial spreadsheets EXCEL
  • Able to operate as part of a team
  • Discretion in dealing with confidential and sensitive information
  • A confident approach, able to remain calm and handle competing demands under pressure
