Summary
A warm and welcoming family based in Battersea is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their toddler and school-aged child. Key responsibilities include school pick-ups, assisting with homework, preparing light meals, and engaging the children in fun, age-appropriate activities. They are looking for someone dependable, nurturing, and experienced in supporting children's development. Strong English skills are essential, and the ability to speak French or Dutch would be a valued bonus. A valid paediatric first aid qualification is required for this role.
Working hours: 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) with the possibility of extending to Monday to Friday for the right candidate, depending on availability and flexibility. 3 pm to 8 pm or 2:30 pm to 7:20 pm (Can be flexible)
Duties include:
Assisting with nursery and school pick-ups
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
Encouraging early literacy by reading books together
Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational progress
Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to promote structure and development
Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs
