MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible to support the development of learners on various educational & training programmes to achieve and maintain an excellent standard of clinical practice in accordance with national and professional standards Having a key role in assessing training needs, planning, delivering and evaluating education and training programmes Responsible for the identifying, planning, delivery and evaluation of education and training programmes for the services Clinical Healthcare Workforce To ensure all education and training is quality assured, accurately monitored and recorded in accordance with policy Responsible for collating the services annual training needs analysis based on the outcome of annual appraisal reviews identified training requirements Provide a range of educational approaches and learning events, including; face to face- classroom, virtual, clinical and competency assessment, e-learning and blended learning To ensure clinical induction and orientation programmes are delivered and evaluated as per the corporate clinical induction procedures and/or processes To work in a supernumerary role to support and develop new and existing registered, unregistered healthcare staff and volunteers To support the Senior Leadership Team to deliver the Quality Improvement Plan by using Datix incident analysis to continuously improve the reporting process and deliver appropriate education and training to prevent recurrence where appropriate To participate in the development of policies and guidelines within the service To support the delivery of any research being carried out in the centre and across the organisation to promote evidence-based practice and quality service delivery
