To be part of the Macmillan and Oncology Unit teams and work to enable the objectives of the Trust to be achieved. To contribute to the Trust complying with Clinical Governance and Risk Management. To meet and greet visitors to the department. To ensure information from the waiting list proforma is entered in to the Care Records System. Book patients on the Waiting lists in order of clinical priority and chronological order. Contact the patients via phone as necessary. Identify when lists are over/ under booked to Macmillan Senior Sister. Prepare and communicate final lists to all Clinical area. Monitor and review planned lists. Book patients in advance for pre chemo assessment. Liaise with Haematology Outpatient area and ward 25 admissions, especially with respect to patients with follow up. Ensure all waiting list movements and information is recorded on to the system in a timely and appropriate manner and communication is maintained with all appropriate areas.
