We're Hiring: Accounts Assistant
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Are you a detail-driven professional with a passion for numbers and a knack for organisation? We’re looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to play a vital role in our finance operations and contribute to the ongoing success of a growing company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately process and record financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations


  • Maintain and reconcile accounts to ensure precision in financial records


  • Support the preparation of key financial reports such as balance sheets and profit & loss statements


  • Manage accounts payable and receivable ledgers with efficiency and accuracy


  • Work collaboratively with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies


  • Perform general administrative duties including data entry and filing


    What We’re Looking For:

    • AAT qualified or equivalent experience in accounts administration


    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks)


    • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities
