We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Stroke Medicine to join our forward thinking and ambitious Trust and Stroke Directorate. You will join an enthusiastic and cohesive team in the Stroke Directorate, based at the New Cross Hospital providing hyper-acute and acute care to a population of 600,000 people.

The Wolverhampton Stroke Service was established in 1995 and has provided a combined Hyperacute and Acute Care for the population of Wolverhampton, Walsall and South Staffordshire since 2018 (600,000 people).

The Stroke service is a 39 bedded ward with an integrated TIA clinic directly adjacent to the ward. We see around 1,000 confirmed Stroke admissions each year, provide a 24/7 Stroke thrombolysis service and have a 24/7 Stroke thrombectomy pathway to UHNM Hospital in Stoke-on-Trent.

The post holder will be working with a team of Consultants, Specialist Trainees, Clinical Fellows, Core Trainees and Foundation Year Trainees.

The Trust is a supportive working environment committed to creating flexible working arrangements that suit your needs and as such will consider all requests from applicants who wish to work flexibly.
