30 hours per week, 38 weeks per year - Permanent
Salary: £26,409 - £28,624 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
Actual Salary: £17,710 - £19,196 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated candidate to safeguard students, while providing support on mental health, emotional wellbeing, health and completing referrals to outside organisations. The role requires excellent communication, IT, and organisational skills. In this role you will liaise with teachers, parents, managers, outside agencies, while coordinating resources to address safeguarding, PREVENT, and student welfare issues, including housing and financial advice.

The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding procedures. Key responsibilities include one to one work, being part of a duty system, managing a case load and ensuring accurate record-keeping. You will work with student, vulnerable groups and refer safeguarding concerns as necessary to internal and external services, contributing to a supportive environment where students can thrive.
