CATERING TEAM LEADER - FAMILY LEISURE DESTINATION - NEAR FARNHAM - UP TO £32,000 + BENEFITS - 37.5 HOURS PER WEEK - DAY SHIFTS ONLY
Leisure Solutions specialise in the recruitment of Leisure and Hospitality professionals across the UK, working with a range of businesses to attract the right people, helping businesses thrive and improving lives.
Leisure Solutions are assisting a much-loved family attraction and one of the UK’s largest specialist parks. Following considerable investment into their play and catering offering, we’re now supporting the search for a Catering Team Leader to work within the designated play park area. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead both operational delivery and guest experience in one of the park’s most popular areas.
Reporting to the Commercial & Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team across the Play Barn and catering outlets, ensuring smooth daily operations, high-quality service, and a fun, welcoming environment for families and children. This is a hands-on role for someone with great energy, leadership skills, and a passion for customer experience.
· Lead the day-to-day operations across the Play Barn and multiple food & beverage outlets
· Inspire, train, and manage a team including Assistant Team Leaders and Guest Services staff
· Drive commercial performance through effective cost control, menu development, and stock management
· Ensure food safety, health & safety, and compliance standards are met at all times
· Coordinate visitor flow, party bookings, and peak day operations in the Play Barn
· Use customer feedback and data to continuously enhance the experience and offer
· Collaborate on seasonal events and ensure every visitor interaction is memorable
As this is a dedicated play area designed for children, we are looking for someone who has gained experience in a child focussed environment and has:
· Proven experience in catering, hospitality or visitor attraction leadership
· Food Safety Level 3 and ideally First Aid at Work (or willing to obtain)
· A hands-on leader with strong people management and planning skills
· Excellent communicator with the confidence to engage with guests, team members, and stakeholders
· Calm under pressure, solution-focused and proactive
· Genuinely passionate about great food, safe play, and delivering brilliant guest experiences
· Positive, playful and professional approach to their work
· A DBS certificate or is happy to have a DBS check undertaken
This is a brilliant opportunity to make your mark at a well-loved attraction and lead a team that delivers smiles every single day. In return for your service the company offer:
· Competitive starting salary, up to £32,000
· Full range of company benefits
· A 5-day, 37.5 hour working week, with every other weekend off
This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established company with a great reputation for developing and progressing their employees.
If this role is of interest please submit a current CV for consideration.
We value all applications, however, due to volume numbers we are only able to contact candidates whose skills and experience closely match the requirements of our clients.
In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK and will be asked to provide documented evidence of eligibility. In line with the requirements of the Employment Agencies Act 1973 we are prohibited from charging work-seekers for work finding services.
