are currently recruiting for a Deputy Operations Manager for Luton Airport, and we are looking to hear from candidates who are

The Role
As a Deputy Operations Manager, you will support the Operations Manager in overseeing contract delivery. Your role will include
managing staff, maintaining quality standards, building strong client relationships, and ensuring a professional, secure, and
positive service experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Manage daily operations for Sasse during the absence of the Operations Manager, including the evaluation, motivation, and
performance monitoring of staff.
* Oversee Sasse teams at contract sites, ensuring workflow efficiency and service delivery standards are maintained.
* Foster a positive working environment through daily communication, motivation, and a hands-on leadership approach.
* Monitor and manage staff relations, including scheduling, disciplinary or grievance matters (in coordination with the
Operations Manager), and resolution of staff issues.
* Maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence.
* Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold Sasse quality standards.
* Ensure all staff documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company standards.
* Oversee the correct use of operational documentation by staff on a day-to-day basis.
* Manage stock control for consumables, equipment, and machinery within assigned sites.
* Identify operational challenges and develop effective, proactive solutions.
* Attend regular management meetings with clients, reporting on recent activities and future action plans, including the
preparation of weekly management reports.
* Report weekly to the Operations Manager on operational matters.
* Support payroll processes when required.
Essential Requirements:
* Be proactive, detail-oriented and willing to positively influence our operational teams.
* Have strong organisational skills and strategic thinking to effectively manage people and processes.
* Valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel is essential to this role.
* Must be willing to have the company obtain a security clearance certificate which will be paid for by the company.
