We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team. In this role, you will help create a positive learning environment and provide valuable support to both teachers and students across the school. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Teaching Assistant:
Support classroom teachers with the preparation and delivery of lessons.
Assist individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning and ensure understanding.
Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a safe, engaging learning space.
Provide additional support to pupils with special educational needs where required.
Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing resources and displays.
Supervise pupils during break times, outings, or school activities as needed.
Ideal Teaching Assistant:
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable.
Good communication and interpersonal skills as a Teaching Assistant.
A patient, flexible, and positive attitude.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
